Now Is a Good Time to Help a Nonprofit Organization

Product and Brand Marketing Class promotes their nonprofit organizations for North Texas Giving Day

Written by Julie Haworth

By being part of the UT Dallas community, we know we are blessed with support, resources and connections — but most of all hope. To spread that sense of hope, our marketing majors regularly support various nonprofit organizations by creating clever social media posts, analyzing marketing results and creating sales and marketing plans for them.

A great example of our work is seen every fall in association with North Texas Giving Day (NTGD). For the past eight years, our marketing students have assisted nonprofit organizations with marketing their NTGD campaign. Represented in the photo are students who have worked with nonprofit organizations supporting the arts, education, human and animal services.

Before marketing majors graduate from UT Dallas they will have accumulated at least 100 hours of community engagement experience and learned a lot about spreading hope to our community.
